SSB Educational Qualification

Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent from a recognized board or institute

Sports Qualification

Players who have participated in any recognized International events since 1 January 2017

OR Players who participated in last Olympic Games, World Cups and Asian Games

OR Players who won Medal in recognized National Level sports tournament since 1 January 2017 to last date of receipt of application

• The candidate should be free from wax (EARS), DNS, Hyrocele/Phimosis. Defective Color Vision, LASIK Surgery, Over/Under Weight, Under Chest, Piles, Gynecomastia, Tonsillitis, Veri-Cocele And Aids.
• You should be able to read 6/6 in a Distant Vision Chart
• Colour Vision Standard should be CP-III
• Minimum 14 Dental Points With Sound Teeth

2. What is the height requirement for joining SSB? Ans. Standard height for applying for male is 170 cms and for female it’s 157 cms, except for some relaxations are given, you can check them from the table provided above in the article.

3. What is the required educational qualification to apply for SSB Tradesman Post? Ans. To apply for the position of SSB Tradesman, a candidate must be 10th passed.

4. What are the minimum qualifying marks in SSB Written Examination? Ans. For General, EWS, OBC, & Ex-Servicemen Candidates must have scored atleast 50% and for SC, ST Candidates it is 40%.

5. How many tests will be there during the selection process for SSB ? Ans. There will be physical efficiency test (ex-servicemen and ayah are exempted from PET). Then other tests are written test, Physical standard test, Skill Test and Medical Examination.
