All the stages, that you have to go through to finally get selected for RRC Group D job:

  • Written Examination
  • Physical Efficiency Test
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

Written Examination:
All the aspirants who have made up their minds to get into this particular department in RRC Group D posts, must know that the first stage for selection is going to be written examination. Questions that will be asked are going to be objective type questions. There will be negative marking of 1/3 for every wrong attempt. In case you do not qualify the written cut off marks, you will not be shortlisted for further stages. So first thing you have to do is practice a lot hard for your written part, so that you can qualify this stage easily.

Qualifying marks for unreserved category are 40% and that for reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWD is 30%.

Physical Efficiency Test:
Candidates who will qualify the first stage will be called for Physical Efficiency Test. Qualifying criteria is different for both male and female.
Males: Males Candidates should be able to cover 1500 mtr distance in six minutes in one chance.
Females: Females candidates should be able to cover 400 mtr distance in three minutes. One chance will be given. You have to achieve the target in just one chance.

Medical Examination and Document Verification:
Candidates who will qualify the second stage will be called for medical examination, those who will pass medical examination test, with all the medical standards that are required to get the job, will be called for document verification test.

Final Selection will be based on the merit positions obtained in Written Examination.
